An old model but still popular due to its low price.

	Model: ED209 Type: Policebot Brain: Single Core Chassis: 12 Armour: none Weapon: Multi Blaster Description: Effective standard issue policing droid used throughout NATO. Rumours of software glitches leading to innocent unarmed civilians being blasted to pieces are unfounded.

	Model: ED280 Type: Policebot Brain: Single Core Chassis: 6 Armour: none Weapon: Heavy Blaster Description: Expensive pursuit droid used by police forces in Western Europe. Its antigrav drive gives it the speed, and a heavy blaster the stopping power, to deal with any traffic law violators.

	Model: ED296 Type: Policebot Brain: Single Core Chassis: 14 Armour: none Weapon: Blaster Description: Obsolete and slow. Used for crowd control due to its height and menacing appearance. Now out of production as police forces upgrade to the ED209 and ED280. Now appearing on the black market, reprogrammed as "hired goons".

Primarily used to patrol perimeter fences, although has also proved successful in encouraging office staff productivity.
